A most helpful and genial host who's recommendations of where to eat, where to visit, was most helpful and pleasing, breakfast selection was varied and satisfying. Attention to room comfort was very good, quiet and comfortable. Well worth staying at this venue again
No complaints at all, full satisfaction was achieved every day of our stay
Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff. Food was fresh, rooms were clean and nicely decorated
No parking nearby if travelling with car. Breakfast time very restrictive, 8-9 am only especially since there is insufficient space for everyone so you have to wait for a free table. the manager does the cooking at breakfast so there is noone available if you need help with anything, could do with separate chef.
Very clean,recently re furbished.Friendly,helpful staff,good choice and quality breakfast.Comfortable.
Parking out front is expensive, but no charge after 6pm Sat and all day Sun.
Excellent location and the security
The breakfast sessions were too chaotic
Location was excellent as was the room price. Rooms were nicely decorated and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful
The freindliness and helpfulness of the owner Gary was brilliant from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, nothing was too much trouble. The room was stunning with lots of original features and with plenty of room, will definately use this guest house again.
Location was excellent and the room was clean and quaint. Staff were helpful and available.
Breakfast was somewhat disappointing. Not bad, just ordinary.
excellent position very short walk to Princess St. Staff friendly and very helpful when car battery needed charging.
Good location and well decorated. Easy access to all city centre amenities and tourist centres.
Did not like being unable to open roof windows in room, no other windows and supplied fan noisy so room was over warm and stuffy.
very nice room and bathroom - very modern, clean and coosy...very tasty breakfast
make sure you let them know when you are arriving - they do not have a reception - so they are not in all the time
Very friendly & helpful staff. Great location central for everything. Very clean & modern. Would definately stay again.
I would need earplugs if I stayed in the room facing the main st. again, due to lack of double glazing. It was quite noisy during the night with traffic & people. Otherwise a great guesthouse.
I thought the room decor was lovely and the bedding good quality.
We did not have breakfast as it was fairly early to get up.
We were instantly welcomed at the Queens, the location was easy to find and was an excellenent base for exploring Edinburgh. The Rooms were comfortable and the Shower was one of the best I have ever had! Breakfast was lovely and just what was needed after a night on the town! All in all I would definatley re-book this hotel for my next visit to Edinburgh.
The attention to detail was appreciated and made a welcomr change to the standard hotel experience.
Guest House in a great location close to the shops and a short walk to the castle and old town. modern, comfortable rooms and large ensuite bathroom. Great breakfast with plenty of food!
No parking on site. There are parks out front on the street but the parking costs £6 for 3 hours and the parking inspectors are always around!
